While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I found behind its entrance was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .
The State of Affairs: Grimy and Abandoned
From the moment I stepped inside , it was apparent that upkeep was not a priority at this bar . The surfaces were tacky , and a foul smell of old alcohol and uncleaned toilets permeated the entire venue . Emitting a scent of a mixture of ammonia , putrefaction and illness . The main bar, which should be the focal point of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and debris that looked like it hadn’t been touched in ages . The restroom was in even a truly awful state— spilling over , with a broken handle and surfaces marked in what I can only assume was human excrement .
